This delightful venue was an accidentsl find for us, a serendipity provided by a web search while passing nearby when hunger pangs began. A web search paid off, big time. Nestled in an historic neighborhood atop Chiusi's hilltop, Osteria Etrusca provides that sweet spot between formal dining and the ready-to-eat or small pizzerias that abound in Italy: this is the sweet spot between affordability and excellent food. Pizza, pastas, beef, sandwiches, and salads -- all affordable and prepared with attention to taste and visual presentation. This has been the biggest restaurant surprise in my Italy adventures. Enjoy. Mangia!

The food was amazing! The steak for two persons was enough to feed 4. The meat was really good spiced and we liked it allot. The place was beautiful with the sunset and the trees and the lights. I would reccomend to eat outside because the view is amazing. I give it 5 stars because the food is perfect, the staff was funny and helped with anything and the plave itself was at the best location.

Very very good food. The pici (a local pasta) was outstanding, pizza excellent - the mushroom and truffle was particularly good. The dough is thin and crispy rather than a thicker, stodgier type, which I prefer as it allowed the taste of the toppings to come through. My friend said the meat was good but not the best. The desserts were dangerous. We're I not time pressed, I'd probably have overdosed. Overall it was excellent and topped off by the best, friendlies service you could hope for.

The food was very good and the servers helpful. We had the pici (a local thick form of spaghetti) and a thinly sliced beef with dollops of Gorgonzola. Good food, but the portions were a bit small. We ended up getting a pizza to share.
